His spirit of service to patients and to the greater Central Texas community has consistently marked his professional career. In addition to caring for thousands of children and families, Dr. Gamble also donated his expertise as the pediatrician for Waco’s Methodist Home for 40 years in addition to conducting well-baby clinics for the McLennan County Health Department.
His community involvement includes serving as the President of the Waco Symphony Association, the 1996 Cotton Palace King, and as an Elder at First Presbyterian Church.
Dr. Gamble loves visiting with and taking care of kids. After 50 years working as a pediatrician, he now takes care of the children and even the grandchildren of his first patients. Outside of his medical practice Dr. Gamble is a well-rounded gentleman. He is an avid supporter of the Waco Symphony and enjoys the fine arts. In his free time he enjoys gardening. Dr. Gamble has been happily married more than 50 years to his wife, Geneva. Together they have three children and three grandchildren.
