Board certified in Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Dewbre joined Hillcrest Pediatrics in 2005. Dr. Jacqueline Dewbre is a natural caregiver and extends her attention to children outside of her medical practice to both her personal and spiritual life where you will find her doting on her two daughters and tending to a Sunday school classroom full of toddlers.

She completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston. Dr. Dewbre received her medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center (TCOM) with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and was awarded with the Mead Johnson Excellence in Pediatrics Award. Born and raised near Ardmore, Oklahoma, she attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University and graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in biology.

Dr. Dewbre is recognized by the University of Texas at Arlington School of Nursing as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor and has served as a physician mentor for UTMB Galveston medical students. She is also a member of the American Medical Association and the Christian Medical Association.
Dr. Dewbre and her husband of 15 years, Chad, have two terrific daughters Jacey and Callie and attend Harris Creek Baptist Church. During football season Dr. Dewbre can be found in the stands on Friday nights supporting her husband’s team. Each December she volunteers at the Mission Waco Toy Store. Dr. Dewbre enjoys snow skiing, golfing, reading, and most of all, spending time with her family.
